Wink new to forum

I just found this site while doing research on some blue polyp's just purchaced from Divers den @ live aquaria. I found alot of info and you all seem like real nice people swapping frags and all. Hopefully I will be able to swap frags off this colony purchaced once I get it and see if I can get them to grow as well as I have read they grow. I have had my reef running aprox 3yrs with its ups and downs but I,m really set up now for success. I have had salt on and off for 15yrs or so but reefs just in the last 8yrs. Its very theraputic and I cant get enough of it. My wallet is my only restriction> to what I would like to create if money was no object. My reef is starting to take shape now though, just being patient. Ive overloaded too many times before and lost alot of beautiful specimines due to the buy bug. Well hope to have fun with you all and possibly make some friends to swap corals with

Re: new to forum

Welcome to RS! So glad you found this huge tidal pool of information and great people. Feel free to jump in anytime, the water is fine and I see Victor warned you already about people asking for pictures, but to tell you the truth I have no idea where he reads his posts or what site he is talking about, but we would never be so rude to ask for pictures. However, psssst, please don't forget we want pictures!

Worried about the costs to run a Saltwater tank?
Here are some tips on cutting back to keep your bills in the same range as before.

Put a timer in the bathroom, the family is now only aloud to take 5 minute showers, baths are out of the question.

Tv time is cut to 1 hour a night, we have to make up for all of the lights/pumps/heaters/chillers/etc. running

No more lights, duct tape all light switches in the off position. If someone needs light, they can sit by the tank.

Sorry bunny, I sacrificed you to help others save money!
