| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: A quick hello You are already headed in the exact direction I would send you for skimmers. If you have a sump, I love the ASM G series of skimmers. I have one on each of my tanks with sumps. If you don't have a sump and need to get a HOB skimmer, I love the Aqua C Remora. That is what I have on my 20g and it works great. Always go for a skimmer rated for double the water volume you actually have in the tank. Most manufacturers overrate their skimmers so it is a good idea to go with a bigger one than you think you need. Check out our sponsors for some great prices on skimmers. __________________ 265 Gallon Reef built into basement wall. Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts .
