Hello, I'm a newcomer

Hey all,
I'm pretty much brand new to the sw hobby. I have a 25 gal tall tank which I cycled with a couple of damsels. I then gave away the damsels so I could keep a more peaceful tank. So far I have 2 common clownfish.

cool, welcome. this is a very newbie friendly site. lots of people to help with understanding and later great people to get into in depth talks without getting blasted with neg stuff. enjoy and REEF ON!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to RS! What are your plans for this tank? Unfortunately, you are pretty much maxed out on fish, unless you are willing to get a little yellow goby. What kind of lighting do you have?

Thanks for the relplies. I have already done some posting elsewhere on the site but havn't been back here. I'm 16 now and still in high school, and I have had the tank running about 1 1/2 months. I think my plan now is to use live rock as my main filtration as it is the cheapest for this size tank. I think I will also do a small water change everyweek. Im not trying to do a reef tank just yet, only fish, but I want to use the experience to set up my own reef tank when I am older and have settled down, you know? I also have a pretty good power filter for chemical and mechanical filtration.
I would be happy with the two clowns, a firegoby, and a shrimp, plus maybe one other small bottom dweller if the system is stable. My neighbors basically have the same set up but with a 30 gal instead. They have more fish than what is recomended but do fine, but I don't plan on exceeding the amount I mentioned above. Thanks for the help I have gotten already on the other sections of the forum
