Hi I'm starting a 65g mixed reef

I thought I'd try out this forum and see what it's like... I'm a member of another online reef community, which I don't feel is very beginner-friendly at all. I hope I'll feel more comfortable here. I live in northern British Columbia, Canada. Hoping to make some new friends and get some good advice here!

I think you'll find that you have chosen well. You'll find a lot of folks with a tremendous amount of knowledge that are happy to try and help folks out. Let us know what you have planned for your tank and we'll try to help out.

i think you found the right spot. i know what you mean about other forums. i belong to many forums that i use to get info, usually i only come here to discuss whatever though. this is a very friendly site. so what are your plans, type corals, equipment and all that stuff?

I am surprised Sasquatch didn't already comment on this thread, he is also in Canada and always complaining about us Floridians. He says we are about to take over RS!

He is going to ask for pictures too, never fails, I tell ya....pretty bad when you know what someone is going to say, huh? Sooooo, you got pictures yet?
