Do you have an anemone? They get blamed for most dissappearances.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Worst case scenario, the fish may have been sick from the LFS, and the shock of transport and change of environment again may have been the last straw...

I've had fish hide in the rocks for weeks and show up one day out of the blue. You just never know short of tearing everything down.

Re: anybody have your fish´s go in the rocks and you never seen him

Welcome to RS.

I have had some things just disappear into the rocks, even things with shells. The biggest was a flame scallop. I used to hear it click against the back of the glass all the time and then suddenly that stopped and it wasn't there and now I have no idea where it is. I have also found some new things come out of my rock. I hope you find your fish, maybe it is just hiding, getting used to it's new home. Hope you will see it again.

Welcome!

I had a green clown goby go directly from bag to rock and it NEVER came out again. It's been about 2 months now so I guess it's time to write him off!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!
