I Need Water Flow?

I am going to set this 250 gal. Reef Tank up with the Jaubert Plenum System, Live Sand, and Live Rock with no other filtration. Question is..With the desire and need for a moderate to hi flow of current for corals from 2 to 4 Tunze Powerheads and a Wave Controller (Also Tunze)..How much water flow can I or should I use and not create a Sand Storm??? I was thinking of around 1850 GPH. That seems a little high but heck I don't know...Any takers on this one??

The more flow the better.. In my 265 I have a terrible time with flow.. At one time( before I added the sump and fuge) I had 6 powerheads and still had some dead spots.. The more the better. All powerheads become clogged and slower with use.. Make sure they are cleaned regularly

You may want to take a look at the new Hydor Koralia Pump 4. It moves a heck of a lot of water even unmodded. It may be a reasonable option. I'm planning on starting with a pair of them (along with the pump 3 that I already have) when I get my 240 up and running. I may need more but won't know until it's up. I will say that the pump 3 was more than adequate on the 110 gallon.

Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind.
