| Tunicate | want to add a new fish. suggestions? I have a arc eyed hawkfish, yellow tail damsel, true clownfish and a sand sifting starfish. I currently do not have any corals, but will eventually. I would like to add one or two more fishes that are reef safe. I've been looking into tangs but most will need ample room to swim. I have a 90g tank. I would like a yellow or blue tang. Various sources say that tangs need from a range of 30-125 gallons. That's a big difference! What does everyone think? I do not want to buy one if my tank is too small. Any other suggestions other than tangs? I am scpetical of smaller fish since my hawkfish seems to be ravenous all the time. Sometimes will eat my hermits. |

| Manta Ray | Re: want to add a new fish. suggestions? A yellow tang would be fine in your 90... Depends on which blue one you are talking about... I have a Hippo/Regal tang in my 90.

| Sea Pen | Re: want to add a new fish. suggestions? any of those 2 tangs you mentioned are ok. just get the smallest you can buy so you will enjoy them longer. once they get to a show size, it'll be time to let go depends on your bioload at that time.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: want to add a new fish. suggestions? You should be fine with one tang in a 90. Personally I would avoid the yellow since mine got so agressive I had to remove him.
