Well,.. I'm starting to move forward with the 180 build,.. Fish made it the week no problem and went to my friend's house fat and happy.

I picked up a bunch of lumber to start building my hood yesterday,.. but I still need to make drawings so I know what the heck I'm building.

Plans and blueprints always help! Looking forward to this build. BTW, I have some GSP invading a rock, you interested in scraping them off?

Since I mentioned it in here,.. here are some pics of the finished Canopy:

All the holes in the back are for fans,.. that's a removable fan rack

Feeding doors open:

Front flap open:

This is the hood with the front flap up, and the top swung all the way away so I can move the lighting out of my way:

Finally,.. Here's a pic of how it looks now:

Lol,.. Yep! I figured I'd give my new LR a nice clean envryoment until it's cured and this tank finally get's it's sump. The rest of this build will have to go very fast, because everything I put on it comes off my current 125G SPS tank.

The clams are CA suckers for sure,.. I have a Huge CA reactor on this tank and it just bairly keeps up. I go through media in no time.

The removable fan rack came about because fans go out so often for me,.. this way I can remove them all without taking the canopy off. Plus it angles the fans down so they blow on the water.

I can't wait to get it moved over either,.. THe plan is to move it into the new tank and be able to simply let it grow for about 5 years.
