Hi

Hi am new here Just thought I'd say Hi
I live in hertfordshire in the UK
been keeping marines for about 3 yrs the pics are off my new tank I have had for around 2 months now

Using berlin method(LR and circulation with skimmer)
2 x sieo's 820
2 x aquaclear powerheads
Fluval 404 with rowaphos and carbon
Living rock from my old system at least 3 yrs old and some new cured living rock added(still need to add more.
1 pr of tank bred clowns
1 chalk goby
1 two spotted goby
regal tang
red star fish
pair of red firefish
1 algae blenny- he has done a great job cleaning away hair algea
Red bamboo
dragons eye (zoo)
new zoo - not sure of name
2 toadstools
3 types of mushrooms covering pcs of rock
xenia pulsing
cpt xenia
fern algae plus other too help nitrite/nitrates keep low
1 red legged hermit(from original set up
3 turbo's(in process of buying more)
water parameters been steady for 3 weeks!
Nitrite - 0,ammo - 0,Nitrate - 5,p.h - 8.2,s.g - 1.025,po4 - 0,Calcium - 460,Alk -4.57,kh -12.8

265 Gallon Reef built into basement wall. Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind. Gotta love this hobby Vicki

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
