Just getting started

I have a 55 gal with a clown ,6 line wrase, unicorn tang, butterfly tang and a fire gobie. I am starting my first reef aquarium tonight (65 gal ) and found this sight and think it will be great for information. It could take a while for my reverse osmosis to process enough water to fill her up. so I am reading and figured i migiht as well post my sign on and see what happens.

Re: Just getting started

Welcome to RS! Lots of friendly helpful people here so ask away.
Are you keeping the 55 and adding a 65 or replacing one with the other?
Either way if you water parameters are good on the 55 I would use some of that water to get the 65 started. LR and sand as well if you have it.
What kind of corals, fish etc are you planning? Have you decided on your lighting?
Gee I guess I am full of questions tonight.
Last but certainly not least I second Woodstock's request for pics. We love pics here and love to see the progress of a new setup. If you have any trouble with the pics either post the question or send me a pm and I will do my best to assist.
Best of luck and welcome to a great reefing site.

Welcome to RS!

Try getting an Aquatec Boost pump. It's made a big difference in the amount of water that we can make.
