Hi gang.
I have been lurking here and there for the last couple years. Still lurking but ....
I have a 150 reef tank with a 100 gal sump, and 55 gal fuge. I run 4 100watt vho's 2 50/50 and 2 atinics. I have 2 175 watt metal halides and 1 250watt metal halide all in the hood. Skimmer is a asm g4 in the sump. The tank is not drilled so I depend on over flows. I have a closed loop around the perimeter of the tank Calfo style with 12 adjustable ports. I only currently have 6 open. I also have a Maxi 12 modified and running in the tank, saving for Tunze's. The tank is almost all softies and LPS. I have a South Down sand bed 3 to 5 inches deep and about 225 lbs of live rock.
My youngest has just started college and I am hoping that I continue my gheto reef till she graduates, then...........well then we will see.
I am a member of CSEA Cleveland Saltwater Enthuists Association, and am still such a newbee.

Re: First post

Welcom to RS!
Lurking for years and haven't jumped in before? Wow.
Sounds like a great set-up. Post pics when you can. We would love to see them. Also not very familiar w/areas of Ohio (kinda funny cause I was born there), but there is a thread about a big frag meet really soon somewhere in the state. Check it out it may be close and frags are a great way to add things without major cost. Looks like you have all the equipment and lights to keep pretty much whatever you want.
Glad you finally joined the posting side of RS!

Re: First post

There is great info in the photography forum about resizing and posting pics. What part are you having difficulty with? Perhaps we can point you in the right direction. (Can you tell I like pics? )

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
