| Tunicate | Re: New to the hobby It get expensive. All bets are off when we get a bigger house. We don't have anywhere to put another tank. I already have a fw we've had for about 6 years. The sw tank is in our room. I love it. I cant wait to get stuff growing and swimming in it. |

| Tunicate | Re: New to the hobby We'll race you there. We have a 55 fw with africans in it. We've had those fish for about 6 years. If we are going to upgrade again we have to get a bigger house. As it is the sw tank is in our bedroom. I stare at it all the time. I can't wait till theres stuff (besides worms and algea) swimming and growning in there. Even empty it's a beautiful tank. |

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: New to the hobby Then it will really hit you. LOL This is definitely and addiction not just a hobby. Got my first sw tank (20g) right about a year ago. Now I have a 125 reef, 24g seahorse tank and the 20g set up as a qt tank. And still I want more. Next I want a "big" tank. LOL I thought the 125 was huge when we got it, but now that I see what can be done, I just can't seem to stop. Best of luck. Post some pics when you can, and start a chronicle of your reef so we can all track you progress. This way you can look back years later at what the tank looked like in the beginning.
