| Tunicate | unwelcome resident ?????? Hi all, long time no speak. Recently upgraded to an aquamedic percula 120 aquarium. My question is this; I have what was sold as a pink prickly soft coral, not sure what correct genus is or anything but ive noticed a small brown mark on it. When I looked at it under a mesoscope I realised it is a hole in the stem and it lookes like something tiny is living inside. Is this likely to be a parasite and bad for the coral or something else. Cant get a piccy as I have no camera attachment for the mesoscope. ![]()

| Golden Moray ![]() | Re: unwelcome resident ?????? I'm pretty sure the coral you are talking about is a Carnation Coral. If it is this coral needs to be fed phytoplankton as it is non photosynthetic. It could be some type of leather eating nudi. I would check around the coral about 2-3 hours after the lights go out. |
