| Tunicate | renewed interest aloha, I live on maui Ive had two marine aquariums previusly but by no means consider myself an expert, on that note I recently aquired an already established(for two years) 72gallon bowfront with an eheim 2229 filtration. It seems to work well, the inhabitants are as follows maroon clown,yellowtang,2mullet.and two eels snowflake/not sure of the other,varius hermits,a pistol shrimp,and a small mud skipper, suprisingly everybody gets along fine.We have very stricked laws here in hawaii,cant say I agree with them but oh well what can you do. Anyway very pleased to be part of a great recourse of info. mahalo.  p.s. Ill try and get some photos |

__________________ 265 Gallon Reef built into basement wall. Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts  . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind. Gotta love this hobby    VickiLife is like a pathway of untrodden snow. Gotta agree with ya on the Hawaiian F&G laws...NO corals? wow..but, considering the stupidity of aquarists world-wide in releasing their livestock into the ocean, I guess they do make sense...What would the ocean around the islands be like if everyone dumped their colorful acroporas and zoanthids into the local waters? OK, there's a lot more issues than that, but...
