| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Miguel Don't add any supplement that you haven't tested for first. Get a alkalinity test kit prior to adding any buffer. Also note that alk affects ca and visa-versa so you'll need to keep a check on both when making adjustments to either one. Most rely on trace element replenishment via water changes.

Depending on the chart in your test kit....your readings should be in this range. 2.5 - 4 meq/L or 7 - 11 dKH If they are then dont do a thing, your right on the money. Don't dose for anything you don't test for first to make sure you actually need it. Good luck! Keep us posted on your progress ![]()
