algae on glass

i have algae growing on my glass real fast and its only on my glass it just started this week. my tank has been up for 2 months all my perameters r good and my lights are 2-250 mh 15000k and 4-65 cp act. i have had fish tanks for over 20 years and salt for about 6-7 years now i have never seen this before. i also use ro/di water. any help would be welcome thanks

it is green algae and takes about 8-12 hrs before its back on the glass

Is it just a light film? If so, I have the same thing. Mag fload ever day or two is my answer.

my acrylic magfloat isnt strong enough the get some of the green algae on the glass. I have been using my petco rewards card for glass scraping and so far that is the only thing it is good for

Is it green or brown? If it is green it is film algae, if it is brown then diatoms. Clean up crews destroy either one, get snails instead of hermits for this problem as they can climb up to clean your glass.
