bryopsis/hair algae

whats the difference between the two. ive got a bad case of one. seen the pic on reefs dot org of bry. but doesnt look like what i have.

hair algea is easiestly descriped as single long threads of algae,,thin grass so to speak. where bryposis looks like a fern, central stalk with radiating fins. i could find pics,,,,but google images works wonders~
