Re: In Living Color Aquariums

Do ILC do MH lightings kits ? i have 2 tanks i want to brighten up. 100 gal and 180 gal. both 72 inches long. the 180 is 2 ft deep and the 100 is... shallower..

Basically i am trying to keep my prices down. Buying MH stuff in Oz is stupidly expensive. Hence why i am trying to buy in the US and see with the exchange rate and shipping how much better off i will be. if at all.

any chance of this ? ?

ILC does not have an online store yet... But if you would like to call the store and ask them to ship to you, I am sure they would do that...

i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~

Re: In Living Color Aquariums

While there, I saw at least 6 dead fish and about 4 others knocking on death's door. Not all of which were the same fish. Also had a big algae problem in many of the tanks. Many fish were also mislabeled.
The staff is friendly and willing to help. A large selection of saltwater and freshwater fish. Some of the fish were overpriced, others average, and even some that would be considered a bargain.

I personally would not shop here for livestock due to the MANY overbearing health and quality issues.

Re: In Living Color Aquariums

Sorry to hear the bad news. Thanks for the report mgtarheels.

Can anyone verify and get management to address the issues if merited?

Re: In Living Color Aquariums

I haven't been there since last summer but the place was pretty empty when I was there. It was also insanely hot.

Re: In Living Color Aquariums

I called management last week and never got a call back.. Not sure what the issues are? But there are some... Many complaints coming in, but the one thing they have is good employees... the just need to make it look prettier! Good luck ILC.

Re: In Living Color Aquariums

Well having good employees is definitely the way to improve the place. It is a really large store with lots of potential.
