Local people get together with their frags and sell them to whoever wants them. They bring their tanks and frags to a central location and sell, sell, sell or trade.

how do they keep the frags alive?? do they keep them in a huge tank ?? i would love to see like a pix?

Yes, they bring everything to the event. From what I have heard they have to purchase extra insurance because of the salt water-electric risk to the public. I will post you some pics when it is over. I have never been to this particular one so it will be interesting to see how it is set up.

It really depends on how formal it is. Our club is pretty laid back so when we have one it is just people with coolers and corals in bags. Everybody trades or sells/buys with each other. Sometimes deals have been worked out in advance on their forum but I have gotten some nice stuff just by showing up.

Loads of frags for a great price!! I won a retro fit 250watt metal Halide from the raffle. Looks great in the new tank!! This will buy me some time to save for my t-5 set up.

I couldn't imagine packing up my tank and setting it up for a frag swap. I would need two years notice!
