Re: Does anyone want to trade zoos???

ooooo.... #3 is way cool. I'm afraid I dont have anything "exotic," but what I got is hardy and growing like weeds!!

I'd be willing to trade BUT... It's cold here. I'd be worried about their well being in shipping even with a thermos. I cna post pics of my zoos, there are some with some nice green in 'em, and I'm thinking I can frag a few off the piece I got from Michaelcb which are purple... they're growing nicely now.

Re: Does anyone want to trade zoos???

you can do overnight for $22/$24 at the post office.

Go with a "smallish" box (less than a foot on a side), and either line it with a small styrofoam cooler (I cut some down to fit) or fill it with styrofoam peanuts. Or both. Use a small soup thermos or a kids' thermos, fill with 3/4 tank water, insert smallish frag (one per thermos is best, although with zoos they're tough buggers, can do a couple per thermos -- the rocks they're mounted on clap together and can damage the frags). Baggie the thermos a few times, they're not waterproof no matter what the tag says, insert dollar store handwarmer or two (Kmart, hunting section), seal box, get to the post office before 4 p.m.

Re: Does anyone want to trade zoos???

Great looking zoas. I think that you may have more takers than supply. I'd certainly be happy to trade.

Mine are kind of common but this started out as 6 polyps a year ago. It's also moved to two other locations in my tank.
