Fish Breeding

I have several tanks and in one of my tanks i have clownfish that just layed eggs, and in another spot my neon gobies layed eggs, then i saw my other pair of clownfish lay eggs two days ago,you think thats alot but then i check in it again and now my pajama cardinal fish bred. A month ago my red sea sailfin tangs bred to raising the young. My question is, is this normal and im a rookie at breeding fish to put it nicely, what are the requirements for all of them and how can this be my nitrates are at 20 thats bad from what i am told, how could they still be breeding.

Re: Fish Breeding

its impossible they have them in the darkest place have to wait till they hatch. The sailfin babies i get a blur from other tanks.

Re: Fish Breeding

ur doing something right. ur nitrates are ok for a fish only tank. a buddy of mine that breeds fish has a ton of nitrates because of feeding the fish so often. check out this link for a nice fish breeding site.

A reef tank is like a race car. The faster you go the harder you crash.
