Possible Gravid Peppermint Shrimp

I think I have a gravid peppermint shrimp! Maybe she just has really hairy swimmerettes.

Anyone with experience or advice - please share.

Due to the camera shyness of this specimen I have only blurred undisernable imagines, so far.

It is fairly common. They have both organs so if you have two they will have babies eventually. I think they are supposed to be really hard to raise. I am not sure though. They do make a nutritious snack for the fish and corals though!

Tanks Blake, I appreciate that. Special care will probably not be afforded to them, although, survivors are welcome.

Re: Possible Gravid Peppermint Shrimp

Her swimmers are lt. brown, yet, noticably different than when I introduced her to the tank about a week ago.

Today I added fish:

Pr. of O. Clowns and a small Hippo Tang. Probably the ingrdients for shrimp soup
