| Torch coral  | Rotifer chash could it be planaria? I recently experienced a rotifer crash. I got a new supply of rotifers which I kept separate from my crashed culture. I did a massive water change on my crashed culture and then added algae in an attempt to get any remaining cysts to hatch. I checked the culture tonight and did find rotifers - I also found worms approx 10 times the size of the rotifers. They look like planaria but I am not sure. Do you think the worms are the cause of the crash or just coincidence? Should I pitch the crashed and revived culture just to be safe? |
