I think pic of both sides should suffice... although a video would be cool... I'm sure you'll figure it out when the time comes... congrats in advance to the first owners... looking forward to mine...

Doni have you decided on what the Snowflake are going to cost? Have you had any that would qualify as a Snowflake yet? Thanks

Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish!

I am annoyed. I have looked into it and apparently it is illegal to import "cultured" fish into Australia, which I think is stupid? It means we are only allowed to deplete the natural resources. As far as I know there aren't any Picasso's in Aus'.

I personally think you should be charging something for the Picasso culls Doni. Maybe $20 just to help cover some of the costs involved. I feel sorry for the poor regular coloured culls, they are going to be the orphans that were left behind....

Jeff.

I think there might be one or two that has a lot of white. No idea on the pricing... I will keep some of those for future brood stock

Well that stinks. Maybe they are trying to protect the waters from possible introduction of foreign species?

I'm sure someone will adopt the normal looking culls. At least if there is just something like an overbite or something. If my maroon would let me, I would.

Doni's are going in the 24 with RoBerTA. The tomato that's in there now isn't ours. Hope they like each other.

Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish!

I figured I would write something up just in case i ever sell my clowns:

http://71.225.71.111/order/

This is the design so far. I stopped working on the front page and started working on the back end. My goal is to have everything auto-populate from my database backend.

If you guys are view this at 1280x1024, i love how i got the clownfish eye poking out.

Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish!

Kathy, I would not recommend putting clowns in with the tomato. Most tomatos (and clowns in general) are very territorial and will fight/kill new clowns.

Nice work dalilgriffith

Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish!

Hey I have a brilliant idea....why dont you do something a little different?
Why dont you start at the bottom of the list and work your way up?
I dont know about everybody else but I think that sounds like a brilliant plan!

They are looking great and you have done a fantastic job! Thank you so much for all the posts, not to mention all the time you spent raising them!

My LFS is making a big deal that they got a Snowflake in! You dont even want to know what they are asking for it...besides wont tell you..dont want to give you any ideas But they keep saying that it is one of 50 in the U.S. and I just keep laughing thinking...hum I am on the waiting list for some and they (yours Donni) look much better then theirs

I cant wait...

Oh no no!! The tomato is outta there. That's what I meant by he's not ours, he's either getting shipped back to daddy or going to the LFS. He's too big for the 24 truly anyway.
