WOW they grow so fast.

You know that group in the back is up to no good Doni, right? Those are the BAD clowns Barb was talking about.

By the looks of things, with another couple of hundred coming every 2 weeks, I think there would be a good supply .

Jeff.

Doni, what kind of behavior did your clowns exhibit when they were spawning and before she laid the eggs?

Doni already answered this, but just to add something. Our bio department has a pair of clowns in a display tank that have been spawning on the same flowerpot about every 2-3 weeks for the last 10 or so years.

They "shimmey/shake" in front of one another and then during the last few days prior to spawning, they clean a chosen spawing site.

Spawn #6 hatching

Lastnight I pulled "spawn #6" for hatching. It was the eighth day after spawning. I was very disappointed this morning to find only 30 or so had hatched. I hope the remaining eggs (500+) do not turn white (die) before tonight.

Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish!

my clowns were doing a little dance a few days ago and the female has started picking up pieces of LR rubble and empty shells and moving them around. I wonder what that's all aout?
