| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish! Thanks Blake ![]() Kathy - is the color changing much on yours? Daligriffith - I will add your name to the list again. I am planning on matching up two snowcassos with new perculas. As a matter of fact, I have a pair of wild caught percs right now in QT. My motivation is simply fresh genes but it will be interesting to see what offspring they have. It will be easy to match them M-snowcasso & F-percula; but to get the F-snowcasso & M-percula will be very difficult. I will probably end up with two M-snowcasso & F-percula pairs. HideTideTN - I do not know what the PH is. The controller I use on that setup (Reefkeeper) does not monitor it. I would guess it is 8.0-8.3 since the few times I have checked it, it was btween those figures.

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish! Very cool as always. It is interresting to see the itty bitty ones all spread out and then they are all clumped together until they grow up quite a bit and then gather round the food. I just love watching them grow. Anybody who hasn't done so should go to the beginning of the thread where she has day by day photos of the first hatch.

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish! LOL Hightide~ Actually, there is also a powerhead in there for added flow. However, I have a SeaSwirl that I need to install on the return flow to help add more random flow patterns. Boy, its tough to get the flow just right in a small tank....

| Sunshine Reefer ![]() | Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish! Someday, I will get to go on a road trip. I guess it is a bit more likely now that gas is a bit cheaper but I need to get the job thing worked out a bit better first.

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Rearing Picasso Percula Clownfish! I completed a few projects this weekend thanks to NCGuy and Phyxius ![]() Thank you NCguy for getting and installing the sweeeet LumenBrite Pendant this weekend The anemones are loving their new sunshine Thank you Phyxius for drilling my new 20 gal long tank! (yes, I got another tank.. lol). The 20 long will be plumbed into the larger system and will have dividers to create small areas (9 or 10) that will serve as 'holding' cells prior to shipping. I am currently using breeder nets which work okay but are taking up valuable space in my tanks, blocking lights and are a death trap to the small fry. I accidentally smushed a few babies with a net ![]() Currently, I only have room for 5 or 6 breeder nets but with the new 20 gal long I will hav 9-10 holding spaces. That should help to speed up selling. I will post photos later...
