| Tunicate | spider web on live rock OK, I've already done a search on this and nothing seems to realy address it satisfactorily.....I've got what looks exactly like a spider web growing on some of the live rock I just bought about a week ago. What is it and what should I do about it. The live rock was already cured, bought from a LFS, was told just to "put it in" and was "already cured". Any thoughts? |

Probably just a little die off. Blow it away with a turkey baster. I've got new rock in my 35 hex cycling... It's got die off on it, I'll see if I can get a clear pic.

| Elegance coral | I just took this pic... Is this what it looks like? If that's what it looks like, then your rock is just cycling. Not a big problem. If you get die off after you've had it in the tank for a few months, then something is wrong.

| Reef Shark ![]() | Could be the feeding strands of a vermetid snail, or from a spaghetti worm. Pics will make getting an ID much easier.
