| Neon dottyback | Re: New Tank build update Thanks Jim, I'm probably only getting a fan and having it push out the back.

| Serpent Star | Re: New Tank build update I might have to get some pointers from you as I build the canopy above my 125. Plus... Probably early next year, I'm going to start building a 600 gallon tank that I want to build into my wall - so I might have to bug you on some of the details and any pointers along the way. I agree with the simple things too... I spend at least an hour every night lighting on my dining room floor watching the fish swim around and the corals waving in the current... and then get up way close and look for all the strange little critters that I had never seen before. Such a beautiful hobby we're able to enjoy ![]() |

| Limpet | Re: New Tank build update FINALLY FINISHED!!!! I got the handles for the front panels last week and I got them mounted and was able to finished out the trim work this week. It was an exciting project but I am glad it's over. It's nice to see it all come together and actually look like like my plans. All I need now is time to let the tank settle in so I can get it ready to receive corals. I'm going to spend a few months reading up on keeping a reef tank and deciding on a system to maintain my alk. and CA. Give it another year and it is going to be a great looking tank. Jim ![]() ![]()
