Hello to all reefers!
Me and my wife are reef-a-aholic's also. What a cool addiction!!!!!
We have only at this for 1.5 yrs and love it.Let em explain my addiction in deatil and pics will be coming soon and please reply hope to hear your set up soon.
55 gal with tons of live rock, protein skimmer/uv sterilizer, wet/dry system, mh lighting, 2 clown, 3 dragonet 1male two female, blue hippo tang, cleaner shrimp, pepermint shrimp, electric blue clam, blue star fish,tons of snails and blue/red leg hermit,tube anaemone, green bubble anaemone which the clowns do not like!, assortted corals hard and soft, 4 ricorda's that stared as one would like to sell two, frog spawn,various zoo's, porcapillia 3 colonies 1 needs to go, assortted motipora and acupora which have fragged but need more time to grow

30 gal MH has tomato clown sebae anemaone, neon gobie, pepperemint shrimp,tons of snails and blue/red leg hermit, candy cane coral 4 shades of color and just about to sell some frags, faviafrag just picked up and all other frags maturing.

30 gal mushroom/gobie tank flouresent lighting various colors purple, blue, green, pink, rust color, huge carpet mush that two moroon clowns dig, yellow large tenactacle toadstool, mini toad stool, red star, cleaner shrimp,tons of snails and blue/red leg hermit, glown gobie, tiger gobie,2 target gobie, and xenia colony i lost 4 months resurfaced again?, tons of snails and blue/red leg hermit, Protein shimmer.

45 corner unit
Stars & Stripe puffer, huge serpent star, 4 various stars live gravel from florida snails & hermit crabs.

65 gal new tank
I aquired this tank about 1 month ago. It was in bad shape. 1 yellow tang no top fin and malnurished, two clowns all black on top moved to a ten gal for quaratine huge serptant star. L90 lbs live rock but full off bristle worms made trap for them and pulling out 50 small one per day and still have not made dent, though i want some inthere any suggestions would be nice. Bad lighting adn working on upgrade mh or vho that is the question.

I know i forgot stuff and wife will let me know,but that is enough for now and hope to hear from all of you soon and i will post pics soon.

Live Rock Rubble will do the SAME thing as Bio-Balls and is NOT a suitable replacement for BIO-BALLS in a Reef System! It's ALL gotta go!!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

just posted some older photo's of the tanks and will get some updated on soon. Our sebae stated out all white with purple tips sometimes red when purchased then it slowly turned to tanish with purple tips and have not noticed red tips anymore. It has grown huge in the last month. I will gather pics and post.

If they are white they say that they are not happy. When we got ours it was white and now it is tanish in color it is very happy now!!!! There are new pictures of it...
