Brand new Prime Nano-Chiller 1/15 HP HELP!!

Well, I just bought a chiller for my aquapod 24, my aquarium was reaching the hight 80's, thankfully my fish are doing just fine. Well it is now installed and I am not seeing a drop in the temperature water it is still in the high 80's, If anyone can give me some advise I would greatly appreciated.

I have a maxi jet 1200 pushing water into the chiller, and it seems to be outputting a significant amount of water flow into the aquarium, but still no drop in temp.

What kind of lighting do you have on the tank?
Is there a heater plugged in too?
If so I would unplug the heater just to test and see if maybe it became stuck in the on position and is fighting the chiller.
Does the temp go down at all when the lights go off?
What temp is the house?

Not sure how much heat a chiller that size can counteract.

what is the temp of the water comeing out of the chiller? What is the chiller set at?

Does the pump that you are useing flow match what the chiller recomends for flow thru the chiller?

The chiller ended up being deffective, and has been returned and replaced with an jbj Artica chiller and is working properly 74 degres all day long. Thanks for all the help.

What is the chiller set at? __________________ The difference between a Reef tank and a money shredder is the Tank will trip the GFI! Bret Farve turned #4 into #1!!!!! And I am as confused as he is!!! What a stupped way to come back! We will see the thought/negotiations that happen with this! 120gal tank, 30gal fuge/sump, 2 250w MH, 2 96w Actinics, SPS's, LPS's, fish. Bob
