| Tunicate | Multiple Questions Heres my intro post for more info on current tank set up! Hey! 1) On some of my live rock I have little sticks/branches/worms? I have no idea growing out of them. If you looks carefully in the picture below i have circled a couple. What are they? Are they good, bad, etc?? 2) Also on some of my rock i have a white(milky colored) Covering over some of it. On one of them it appears to be over some bubblish looking things. On the other its just over part of the rock. Again, What is it? And good, bad, etc?? 3) I have also put on here pictures of a wet/dry i have recieved from a friend. What my plan is to put eggcrate at bottom of old bio ball area and fill with live rock rubble. Put a heater, protein skimmer and return pump in the return area. 3 questions with that. First one being, it is a Pro Clear Aquatics 175 sump w/o prefilter, on the website for them they show a foam block between bottom of Bio ball area and return, is that necessary? 3b) I have tried searching internet for resources about the pro clear overflow box trying to find what it is rated at in GPH for help with pump decision. Is anyone familiar with them and can let me know? 3c) For plumping my return what my ideal plumping would be to go from return up to a Y - from there run the returns up to the tank. My goal is to help return flow and current through out all tank to hopefully eliminate need for as many powerheads as possible. Would that give me enough current? And secondly is it even feasible to do that with the sump/overflow combination that i have? Thank you so much to anyone with help!! ~Brian |
