| Tunicate | HELP! Freshwater aquarium I have 2x 2.5g nano tank, all my fishes just died because of the broken power head. Now the tank is full of some kind of "micro worms". They are white colored, snail like, and they are mostly attached to the glass/acrylic. There is a bunch of these things climbing now. Are these good or bad? Should do a water change or complete kill the tank? |

| Plate Coral | Re: HELP! Freshwater aquarium They are most likely nematodes or planarians. Neither one is bad, and they will become fish food when you add more fish. Right now, you are experiencing what a FW refugium is like. A water change is almost never a bad thing. Also, since your fish all died in there, make sure you test the water before you add more, just to be safe.

| Brunt of all Jokes~ | Re: HELP! Freshwater aquarium you might add an airstone as well, as the powerhead died it may have been oxygen starvation? |
