Possibly tank and stand Opinions?

ok so i just got contacted buy someone selling their tank. hows this look as far as a start...

I've decided to rid myself of my aquarium, comes with filter, tank heater, oxygenator, gravel, extra filters, some chemicals, cleaning brush and lots of other stuff. I can't imagine how much money I have in this tank, but I don't have the passion for it that I once did. The cabinet is brown wood, could use another coat of stain, but pretty decent looking. I have a few fish still in the tank and they come with it. Any questions or interested in pics please email. I'm asking 175 for it, which is pretty darn reasonable when you consider how much all the little extras add up too, I will entertain interesting trade offers though.

price is negotiable... its currently a fresh water setup.

heres some pics he sent me...

Re: Possibly tank and stand Opinions?

Personally I would pass alot of the "little extras" will be no use in a reef. I'd also look for a tank that is a bit wider I think you would find a 55 will be hard to aquascape due to it being only 12" front to back

I agree with Kelli. Even 18" is hard to aquascape IMO. Wait for the right setup.

Not a bad setup for the price. It all depends on what your going to do with it. If your planning on a reef setup then as stated before pass on it.

Fish only then I would go for it.
