I was sittin staring at my tank tonight, all it has is uncured live rock lol. But i noticed a little thing growing on top of the rock, there like single white/yellowish tentacles or branchs as the go out in a perfect circle. Its that small there wouldnt be much point in taking a photo u wouldnt see it lol.

I know, I know but im Irish remember

Im 100% sure cause if anything gets close to the tentacles or sensors or what ever u call them, they retract an disappear. They form a flat circle with the outter edges bending upwards

Re: Oh i wonder what it is...

Whilst I class myself as a newbie, I did have a reef tank many years ago, but have forgotten most of what I learned. I do recall sitting in front of the tank for several hours watching all sorts of things crawl around, pop in and out and swell up, when all I had was my live rock. Some of these things were about 12 inches long with hundreds of legs.

Sadly (or maybe not, I really don't know) when I set my tank up this time, there was no such interesting life to be seen.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
