Naso Tang..

hey i just also got a naso tang, it wont seem to eat any lettuce that i am holding, what else can i try to feed this guy?

Also I have a 4x2x2 with a 3x18x18 sump 1 volitans lion, 1 niger trigger, 1 naso tang, 1 saddled toby, will i have to eventually get rid of some of them?

i tied a peice of lettuce to a rock and dangled it in there with a string lol... he enjoyed, if anyone can help me with the stocking situation? would i be able to keep all those fish in there? (will probably remove the saddled toby eventually)

hummm, you like big fish. i think your going to need a bigger tank the naso gets way too big for that tank. the rest are ok but if you plan on adding fish then the trigger and loin are kinda too big and will limit future additions. its not a bio issue so much, more of a territorial issue.

FYI-lettuce is not the best thing to feed them. nori dried seaweed is great, maybe spinach if no seaweed.

ok cool, thanks for that. i didnt realise how big the naso gets untill after i baught it, i got that bug at the LFS like we all at some stage have gotten lol. I will take back the naso and keep the puffer lion and trigger, one more question the puffer grows to 4 inches. will the lion attempt to eat it? i read that its skin is venomous to fish that try to eat it? its a saddled toby

if the loin gets big and hungry enough it might, but usually they know what fish not to eat. if you keep them feed well i wouldnt worry too much.

waht kind of trigger do you have? i remember i had a dwarf fuzzy lion that i fed prawn, he was cool.
