Thumbs up Setup Complete, BC8!

The LR & sand arrived today, and I was really pleased. Fired the pump up for the first time about two hours ago and have had a blast tweaking stuff. BTW, the Hydor-Flos are way cool. Anyways, I was going for a "grotto effect" with the rock. Is it okay? Added a couple of closeups of the new LR... nuthin new to you guys, but I've never seen it this colorful.

Now to be patient and let it age. Thank you for the encouragement; this forum has a a huge cheering section.

I'm going to try to upload a pic for the first time. If I don't get it, I'll post a couple of URL's. BTW, I meant for the rock in the left lower section to look like a Velociraptor.

Jim

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

The man can take pics! Those look great, and the tank looks great. What kind of camera are you using?

Thanks, Jason. A Sony Cybershot DSC-H9, 8.1 megapixel. I'm really not much of a photographer; the camera does the hard part.

Re: Setup Complete, BC8!

Thank you, kind well-wishers! I'm gonna keep a photo journal, and I've set up a spreadsheet for water testing, water chnage dates, etc, and will add to it as I learn more.

Okay... this is a serious addiction - If this 8G does well, I may have to get a second job to support this habit! Already looking at the BC29G.

Lol, a second job? Better think about having 4 jobs. My girl is ready to through me out and I get the evil eye anytime I mention going to the LFS, LOL.
