Stupid question

I have a 24g Pod. I haven't had a SW for years, so I don't remember much. Anyhow, my tank has been up for @ 8 months, everything is going smoothly.
Here is my question: There are a ton of little white, hard circular kinda things all over the walls. What are they? I don't have any pics, but I can try to get some if need be.

Thanks in advance

Re: Stupid question

No, they do not move. They are like permanent fixtures on the walls. They are very small, and looking very closely at them, they are like small "curly-cues"

Thanks

Re: Stupid question

I just tried to get a close look at them, and some of them appear to have tiny fan type things coming out of them. It's hard to tell though, because my eyes started bugging out staring at them.

They are everywhere in the tank.

Thanks again

Re: Stupid question

the mini tube worms are filter feeders and harmless.
