| Tunicate | So i had a 12g eclipse for about 4 years with 2 healthy ocellaris clowns who were doing just fine. Due a sratch in the eclipse which was growing, i decided to 'upgrade' to a 24g aquapod. after about 1 mo of operation, i came home from work today, and the pump was off-- my smaller ocellaris was no where to be seen. He had unfortunately gotten over the side of the back wall and was in the overflow chamber with the pump and had died. i now realize there is a gap between the lights and the top of the back wall. Any suggestions for how to fix this? thanks. |

| Harlequin Tuskfish | Re: 24g aquapod question I found the perfect stuff. I had a fish end up back there too. Go to McMaster-Carr and lookup part number 12335a63. It's rubber weather strip kind of stuff that fits on that back edge and is tall enough to reach the lid. I cut it into pieces so that it follows the angles. It's easy to take off and clean too. Sorry about your little guy... |
