How To Cure Live Rock?

Ie People Of R/s I Have Lr & I Wnt To Cure It, I Just Put It In 10g Container & Put 1 Pwer Head & No Filter Just Pwer Head Only. Is It D Ryt Procedure Coz It Is Vry Smely! Wat Will I Do Plz Help!

That's correct. I would keep it mostly in the dark (no lights on it directly) and do a 100% water change once a week and in between use a brush to lightly remove any loose matter and net or filter sock to remove excess "matter" as it decays and becomes water born. Keep testing the water weekly and once it's back to ZERO the rock is cured. Hope this helps some.

i made a rookie mistake. i had a bucket of replacement water for water changes with a cured piece of LR in it, because i didn't have room for it. it sat for a while and became stagnant. i had no choice but to wash it with fresh water, so what should i do to cure it from this stage? also how do i keep replacement water from going stagnant?
