Help me STOCK my Tank!!!

I have finally decided on tank mates I think... I think is the key to this thread. I’m looking for you guys to chime in and let me know what you think of this list. I am planning a 46 Gallon Bow front tank, with corals. I also have a 20 Gallon sump and refuge as part of my system. I will be starting out with Live Rock and LPS type corals eventually. I am not finial on the list as it could be adjusted. I’m really looking to see if they will all be compatible with each other and the corals. Here is the list in the order in which I intended to add them. I would also appreciate people to let me know what specific order they should be added if there is one.

1. Pair of True Percula Clowns
2. Hi Fin Red Banded Goby w/ White and Red Randall's Pistol Shrimp
3. Coral Beauty Angel
4. Royal Gramma

This is only a starting point. I am hoping to add the Hi Fin and Pistol at the same time in hopes of them becoming buddies. I was also told I might be able to keep a Yellow Tang but I thought they needed at least a 60-100 Gallon tank. If I was able to keep the Tang I would lose the Coral Beauty Angel as I think they are not compatible. Please add to the list or subtract if you wish. I just really want the best possible tank mates I can get. I am open to adding different fish to the list but keep in mind I want the most vibrant and vivid colors possible. I’m also wondering what the inches per gallon should be??? Thanks in advance for everyone’s input and please feel free to add you two cents as it all adds up in the end. Thanks again!

I’m also going to be wondering about the Clean up Crew as well. I know I’m doing this kind of in reverse but I just want to figure out my fish. I will of course add the clean up crew first. If you have any input on what I should get please add that to you post. I might start a separate thread dealing with the Clean up Crew. Please keep in mind I will be a new member to the crabs are evil society so NO crabs… Thanks!

I would figure out what you wanted in a cleanup crew first, before adding any fish. But the list looks good and really no real particular order necessary that I can tell.

Re: Help me STOCK my Tank!!!

I LOVE my Hi Fin Red Band Goby!!! He so odd. He hangs out with my fireshrimp all the time. They both hang out in a little alcove right in front of my tank. Its odd because my fire shrimp used to hide all the time.

Re: Help me STOCK my Tank!!!

LOL I dont know about sharing food. Its more like they have a tug of war with it. I thought only pistol shrimp hang without gobies... I think they need glasses. These two guys are a hoot!
