Feather Duster Question..

I think I found some very small feather dusters on the LR. It sometimes hides itself and sometime it opens or expands like a flower. Is it feather duster?

If so, do I need to feed them? Thanks

Re: Feather Duster Question..

Sounds like a feather duster. They are filter feeders they will do ok on their own.

Re: Feather Duster Question..

The most common feather duster worm that is found on live rock is the Branchiomma cf. curtum variety. They are small, white and resemble palm trees. They will build their tubes with calcium that they filter feed out of the water. These will multiply in your tank and need no special attention.
