Re: Photos

Very nice
What size is it ? What are you using for a return pump, is it in-line or submersible ? Is it going to be a reef or FO ?

Just curious that's all

Looks good man, good job

1 Question, on your return line (Pic titled plumbing), you have a bunch of extra angles you didnt need, looks like you wanted to plumb it as close to the tank as possible, it looks good, but i think it is going to slow your flow, unnecessarily

Re: Photos

Thanx for the feed back. The tank is a 100 gallon reef tank and right now I am using some cheap jebo pumb that I will be changing. The SCWD is in-line and I will work on getting the angles down was trying to manuver around the SCWD line will fix though.

I don't know how much flow the SCWD can handle but here's a good price on an in-line pump just don't know how quiet it is.

Re: Photos

Man I wish I had the whole thing setup but doing it right takes so much time and money. I just want to provide the best enviroment for the marine life, but water is the next step as soon as I fix the pumbing problem. Thanx

Re: Photos

Looks good.
From what i understand about the scwd is that it can handle from 50-1400 gph... the only difference is how fast it changes from one side to the other. higher flow, faster change. also, it will put pressure on your pump and reduce what it is rated for. For example, most may have a mag9.5 on a 100 gal tank (and have 700 gph after head loss) ... but with the scwd holding it back you may be able to go mag12 (and still have 600 gph after head loss) as long as your overflow can handle that. one last thought. I would look into a check valve with "custom" plumbing jobs.
