| Serpent Star | Protein Skimmer Hi, I have had a Jebo PS75 for a while now and it is still sitting in the box. I know these arent supposed to be very good skimmers but I want to give it a go. When I first bought it a few months back I used it as a hang on for about a week, but since my tank is small it looked horrible so I took it off. Now I have drilled my tank and have a sump so I would like to start using it again, but my problem is that I want to use it as and in-sump skimmer instead of hang on. I cant figure out how high the water should be in my sump to use this skimmer and I cannot find any info on this. My sump currently has about 10 inches of water, but if I set the skimmer in this at the bottom the cup fills up within seconds. Anyone know how deep the water should be using this skimmer in-sump? Or does anyone know where I can find this info? Thanks for any help.

| Angel Girl's Daddy ![]() | Re: Protein Skimmer Well after trying to find the instructions for this skimmer i found two things out: Theres very little info on it and its also made for in sump. I looked at it and thought, its cheap but looks like it could work too. just drop it into the sump and fiddle with it till it dose somthing. Your not going to find an instruction manual on google thats for sure. Its cheep enough that in this hobby you could toss it and just save for a better in sump skimmer. thats what i would do. |

| Serpent Star | Re: Protein Skimmer Yeah for $30 I figured I would give it a try. My tank is doing fine now without a skimmer but I hate to walk in my closet every day and see it sitting there collecting dust.
