| Midas Blenny ![]() | 3 little fishies: do I need more personality in this mix? Hi everyone. I have a 24 gallon tank and I'm planning on putting 3 fish in it: What I want to do is: 1 - royal gramma 1 - black-axil chromis 1 - firefish Other than that, there are just going to be a few hermits, a couple shrimp and some corals. The tank is still adjusting to the cleanup crew addition, but I figured it's time to put fish #1 in the quarantine tank. What I'm wondering is if all three of these fish are very shy? I think I've been told the gramma and firefish are prone to hiding in their caves. I want to be sure to have at least one fish that won't be hiding except at meal time. Are these all quite shy? Would I be happier later if I were to choose one fish that's a bit scrappier than these? If so, any recommendations? Thanks for all the great advice! Laura |

| Bryozoan | Re: 3 little fishies: do I need more personality in this mix? With time and attention, the gramma and firefish will spend more and more time out of the rockwork begging for attention like the doggie at the table. I think that's a great combination of fish for you.

| Bryozoan | Re: 3 little fishies: do I need more personality in this mix? A red parrot, Filament flasher, lubbocks or carpenter fairy might be a good idea. Be careful that you only stay with the smaller ones. Clown Fairy, scotts, rosy scales, velvets and others get awfully big for a small tank like that.
