| Scopas Tang | Hi, need some help please. Do u need to add things to your water eg buffers, calcium ect. Bit stuck on this on, if so what are the best products quit limited in the uk not many shops in my area, or could someone recommend any uk websites. thanks sarah xxx |

| Bryozoan | Until you figure out what you want to keep and what exactly those creatures need, the only thing I'd worry about adding would be pH buffer. If you are doing regular water changes using a decent salt mix, you should not have to add anything else right off the bat - but in my experience, most should have pH buffer in their box of tricks. | Achilles Tang ![]() | I agree wit Jenn, but your salt mix should be providing a bit of PH buffering and also adding Calcium. Once you are ready to add coral you will want to make sure your Calcium levels are in the 450 range. This probably wont come from the salt itself, so most use Kalkwasser to replenish evaporated water. I originally used a 2 part additive but found I could not stabalize my PH with it so went back to good ole kalk. HTH
