| Torch coral | Aquarium Set UP Question The aquarium set up we are looking at is an Oceanic 125 gallon Reefready tank with stand and hood. We are probably going to order on-line since the closest dealer is 3 hours away. My question is.....Do the light kits fit up inside of the hood and if so, how hard is it to work inside of the tank? Just looking at the pics on some of the sites it is hard to figure this out! We had our last system about 12 years ago and made our own "hood". The MH system actually sat on top and the front had hinged doors that opened upwards. So...I would appreciate any feed back on this as I am very confused ![]() |

| Rabid Wolverine Reefer ![]() | Re: Aquarium Set UP Question i would not get the canopy, 8" is very cramped for halides. if you went VHO yeah, its doable. also, check freight charges for online orders of big tanks. that could dramatically jack the over all cost. 3hrs one way,,start early, make a day trip out of it.
