best phosphate filter

i'm going to put a phosphate filter in my sump, like a bag, and some carbon... can i just put these at the bottom of my bubble trap?

i already have carbon supplies, what's the best phophate filter?

Personally I like a phosphate reactor with phosban.....

ok, great i saw a few on MD, good prices... how do you set those up in sump? do they have to be inline? do i need a pump?

phosban can be used anywhere as long as water moves though it, eithr passive or active. reactor, powerfilter, sitting in sump, hangiong in tank,,all of these options work. just keep the flow rate slow as to not cause grinding,,this is bad.

Ditto.....Phosban.....I like to use a canister filter.

FWIW I do not like the aqua medic phosphate reactor. I personbally just use the nylon bag, rinse it and throw it in the sump right in my filter bag to make sure it gets plenty of water flowing through it.
I have seen some nice phosphate reactors, but too $$ for my blood.

The micron sock is installed at the sump's intake; where the main tank drains into it.
