| WOLVERINE~ ![]() | Re: Water Film i would say protien. try to increase surface agitation to break it up and your filer/skimmer will remove it. some carbon will help also.

| The Wand Geek was here. ;) ![]() | Re: Water Film Protiens. They are attracted to the water's surface. An overflow (or skimmer box) with the 'teeth' at the top help to skim/remove the film, route the water to our 'protien skimmers' which then create millions of bubbles that the they attach to and are ultimately removed.

| Tunicate | Re: Water Film Appreciate the responces. I have the piece parts for a sump, waiting for the overflow box to arrive to assemble and fire-up the sump. Wil try the surface agitation for now, skimmer is productive, guess I need to boost it. |
