| Tunicate | I recently purchased a 210 gallon reef ready aquarium from all-glass aquariums and i'm doing the plumbing work for the wet dry filter, uv sterilizer and return pump. getting the water from the tank to the wet dry filter was no problem because the wet dry filter came with hoses to connect the overflow bulkheads to the inlet of the wet/dry. but my question is what do i use to connect the output of my quiet-one 9000 pump which has a 1.5" output to the two returns that i have in the tank. i was thinking of connecting the pump to a 1.5" PVC "T" then downgrade the two outputs to 3/4 inch and using cypriflex hoses to run to the bulkhead for the returns. i'm wondering if this is a good idea and what other people have done with their return plumbing. |
