Re: Remote(ish) DSB, Lighted or not

I would do something like that separately as the concept is the ability to chuck the dsb when full, ok so who's got a cryptic linkie???

Re: Remote(ish) DSB, Lighted or not

steve, you can make a 'basket' out of the eggcrate and elevate it above the dsb by an inch or two, that way when its time you can lift the basket, chuck the dsb and start all over without loosing any fauna
heres your linkie DYNAMIC ECOMORPHOLOGY

Re: Remote(ish) DSB, Lighted or not

A friend of mine came up with the idea of filling plastic soda bottles with sand and arranging them in a rack in his sump.It takes the concept of a disposable dsb to the next level of ease of disposal. You can remove bottles periodically and replace with fresh ones without having to tear down the whole works.
